Welcome Robinson's New Police Officers!

New Officers

L to R: Police Chief Dale Vietmeier, District Judge Carla Swearingen-Batch, Officers Matthew Walter, Dominic Nino, and David Gregg, Police Commissioner Ken Kisow, Vice Chair of the Board of Commissioners Ron Shiwarski, Commissioners James Barefoot and Jim Mancini.

New Officer Information:
Officer Matthew Walter was previously on the force for the City of Pittsburgh, serving in the U.S. Army from January 2008 until March 2014.

Officer Dominic Nino was previously an officer for the City of Pittsburgh and a member of the Pittsburgh Police Bomb Squad. He also received a bachelor's degree from Seton Hill University in Criminal Justice.

Officer David Gregg holds a major in Criminology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is a few credits away from caring his bachelor's degree. Gregg has worked for various Police Departments including Carlow University, Stowe, and Heidelberg Departments. Gregg stated that since he is hired in Robinson and won't be running from one job to the next, he will get the final credits needed for his Bachelor’s Degree!

Our Valentine Bash is a BYOB/MIXERS and feel free to bring snacks for your table. Don't miss this fun evening with friends and neighbors. Your admission will enter you to win great prizes. Draft beer included while supplies last.

Shelter Reservations

2017 reservations for Robinson Township shelters will be January 3rd, the first business day of the new year, beginning at 8:00 A.M.


Shelter Fees are as follows:


Burkett Park - Lion Shelter, Groveton Park Shelter, Clever Road Park - Bicentennial Shelter
  • Resident - $75.00
  • Non-Resident - $200.00
  • Business - $250.00
Clever Road Park - Rotary Shelter
  • Resident - $225.00
  • Non-Resident - $425.00
  • Business - $525.00

Cancellation fees will apply for reservation made between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Rotary Shelter cancellation fee will be 50% of the rental fee. All other shelters cancellation fee will be $50.00.

Retire Your Old Glory!


    Robinson Township Historical Society, in conjunction with the Daughters of the American Revolution, and co-sponsors of the Township of Robinson and American Legion Post #862, offers a "Retire Old Glory" receptacle in the lobby of the Robinson Township Municipal Building. Deposit your old and worn out flags in this container to guarantee that they will be disposed of in a dignified and respectful manner. Thanks for your cooperation.
