Public Works employs two mechanics, two lead road foremen and about 11 road crew personnel. Mechanics maintain vehicles and equipment for the department and all other township vehicles. ___________________________________________________

In early spring as our roadways dry out, the daunting task of repairing potholes can be seen in every community. While repairing them seems slower that we would like, many roadways are the responsibility of the County or the Commonwealth.
You can report dangerous potholes on Commonwealth roads at 1-800-fixroad. You will be connected to the nearest PennDOT county maintenance office. Please have as much information as possible as to the specific location. | |

The Robinson Township Public Works Department provides services fundamental to safety and the quality of living in our community. Many of these important services go unnoticed until the snow flies and our roads are left with gaping potholes. The Public Works department goes far beyond plowing snow and repairing potholes in our neighborhood streets. And, summertime tasks are very labor intensive to keep our parks green and clean.
Robinson Township is home to three parks and Public Works' personnel maintain play areas, the sports complex and equipment, shelters, swimming pool, fields, courts, buildings and playgrounds. They go to great lengths to be sure that special events at the parks are well-planned, set up appropriately and monitored to safely welcome hundreds of guests, such as the Autumn Festival held each year in September.
