Robinson Township Property Taxes
Robinson Township Real Estate Tax bills are mailed on April 1 of each year. The current millage rate is 2.60 mills. Robinson Township real estate taxes are discounted 2% if paid by May 31, face value if paid by July 31 and a 10% penalty is assessed beginning August 1. Have a question? Call us during our regular business hours. Any unpaid taxes will be submitted to the proper agency for collection on December 31.


Montour School District Taxes
Current Montour School District Tax bills are discounted 2% if paid by September 30, face value if paid by November 30, and a 10% penalty is assessed beginning December 1.

The Montour School District offers a payment plan of 3 equal payments based on the face amount of this tax. The first payment is due in the Tax Office by August 31 to participate in this payment plan. The second payment is due October 31, and the third payment is due December 15. Any unpaid taxes will be submitted to the proper agency for collection on December 31.


Municipay

For your convenience, Robinson Township now offers you the choice to pay your local taxes with your credit/debit card! Payments must be made in person at the tax office if using a card. A third-party convenience fee will be charged to cardholders paying with a card (2.45% or a $1.50 minimum charge or a flat fee of $3.95 to those using a Visa Consumer Check Card). Earned Income Tax (Wage Tax)

EIT Starting January 1, 2012, local earned income tax started being withheld from residents' paychecks. Your employer should have had you complete a Residency Certification Form to indicate the municipality you live in for proper tax distribution.

If you are self-employed or employed outside of the state of Pennsylvania, you are required to file directly with Jordan Tax Service at 412-835-5243 or 724-731-2300.

Local Service Tax (LST)
This tax, formerly known as the occupational privilege tax is for businesses/workers located/working in Robinson Township. The tax is $52 per person per year working in the Township earning more than $12,000 and is 18 years of age or older.
