Edward C. 'Tex' Ritter The Robinson Township Tax Office is under the direction of Edward C. "Tex" Ritter as of January 3, 2006.

Mr. Ritter has been an active resident for forty years in Robinson Township, and is a member of the Forest Grove Volunteer Fire Department as well as a paramedic.


The Tax Office collects Township and School District Real Estate taxes only.

Robinson Township Property Taxes

Current year Robinson Township Real Estate Tax bills are discounted 2% if paid by May 31, face value if paid by July 31 and a 10% penalty is assessed beginning August 1. Have a question? Call us during our regular business hours.
Any unpaid taxes will be submitted to the proper agency for collection on December 31.

Montour School District Taxes

Current Montour School District Tax bills are discounted 2% if paid by September 30, face value if paid by November 30 and a 10% penalty is assessed beginning December 1. The Montour School District offers a payment plan of 3 equal payments based on the face amount of this tax. The first payment is due in the Tax Office by August 31 to participate in this payment plan. The second payment is due October 31, and the third payment is due December 15.
Any unpaid taxes will be submitted to the proper agency for collection on December 31.

Earned Income Tax (Wage Tax)

The 1% EIT for Robinson Township residents is collected by Centax, not the Robinson Township Tax Office, and Centax can be reached at (412) 220-7347 or 7348.

Emergency and Municipal Services Tax (E&MST)

This tax, formerly known as the occupational privilege tax is for businesses/workers located/working in Robinson Township. The tax is $52 per person per year working in the Township earning more than $12,000 and is 18 years of age or older.
 
For 2008 this Tax is replaced with the Local Service Tax (LST)
